Oregon Law Center (OLC) is a non-profit organization that provides free legal assistance on civil matters to low-income clients in Oregon. The mission of the Oregon Law Center is to achieve justice for the low-income communities of Oregon by providing a full range of the highest quality civil legal services.
The Coos Bay Office of Oregon Law Center serves the low income client population in Coos, Curry, and western Douglas Counties. Priority areas include domestic violence issues, landlord-tenant law, family law, public benefits, employment law, and civil rights. Potential clients and community partners may contact us about any civil (not criminal) legal issue Monday/Wednesday 1:30 -4:00 p.m. in our office and TuesdayThursday 1:30-4:00 p.m. by telephone as well as each 3rd Wednesday afternoon of every month in Brookings/Harbor.

In our complex society, people can need assistance to understand their legal rights and responsibilities as they seek justice under the rule of law. This is especially true for low-income Oregonians because they are more likely than the average person to need help with domestic violence, sexual harassment, sexual assault, discrimination,Social Security, health care, housing, consumer problems or employment issues.
